There is only one thing which book helps us accept, it is that we have the ability to change reality with the power of our own thoughts. Its a book no matter how many times you read it, it will continue to amaze you. It’s the kind of book that leaves you speechless, unable to do anything but think, and wonder.

The new unsatisfied generation: I me and myself generation

Everyone here is lost in the crowd. The new generation: which craves and fights for everything to own and possess, is more frustrated than the prior ones.

During our forefathers and parent’s time, life was way different. They developed relationship based on sharing tangible things like sharing the packet of biscuits, sharing the same cycle to school etc, but today, in this I, Me and Myself generation one try to develop relationship by sharing intangible stuffs, like clicking ” share” button in Facebook.

The objective is rarely to really appreciate the content, rather to like/share the content by the person one wish to please and develop relation for future gain.

This leads to the old adage- the world revolves around me. And in this case the happiness is trapped under the scanner of what more have I added to my possession, than what more I learned ( growth) during the process.

A catch 22 situation, with only one solution. Constant self conversation about living beyond the 3 people, I me and myself.

Are you motivating your employees enough, are you making sure every soldier is treated well, if not, then get ready to die as a leader.

Agree or not, this is what the latest research done on 500 top performing who die brutal death speaks of. The research tells why, good companies never become great, and continue to under perform.

Is it often that you face extra working hours, come late from work, kill your family/personal life. Employees who work this way, never make great leaders.

For once in a blue moon, extending a day’s work is fine, but when it starts to become a habit, you are doomed to a new failure.

But is this happens with every company, well not really. The real successful people ensure that their team members are treated as royally as the resource permits. Take any company and note the high performing department, and you will find that the high performing departments have the best resources, right from technology to facilities. But many organizations/people do not understand the importance of treating their subordinates employees in the best possible way.

As a matter of fact, while having a conversation with a CEO from one among the most reputed Media organization, he said this, ” The Best leaders are those who take care of their subordinates more than they take care of their own self.”

Every great company is made by great leaders, and great leaders are those who ensure that their team come on time, and leaves on time. ( underline )

Like a mother cares for her child, similarly you got to treat your subordinates, as every top level executives must remember, they too have people above them and the man really at the top is the one, who sticks to time.

The sorry thing is, in the rush of getting things done, leaders end up making employees work long hours, only to find them fatigued, not interested in work, and making more mistakes than they ever made.

Is there a solution? the truth is, No, unless the people at the top realize the working hours of each employees and see if the top performer is treated like a donkey.

As a great saying goes, ” Gadha gadhe ki tarah hi kaam karta hai, par uski keemat uske jaane ke baad hi samajh aati hai”.
